CBS ArcSafe® RRS-3 Remote Racking Systems Are Now Powered by Milwaukee M18™ REDLITHIUM Batteries

CBS ArcSafe®, a leading manufacturer of remote racking and switching solutions for low- and medium-voltage switchgear, is pleased to announce that most of the RRS-3 apparatus-specific portable remote racking systems are now powered by Milwaukee M18™ REDLITHIUM rechargeable batteries.

Moving from the legacy lead-acid battery to the M18™ battery offers benefits such as optimizing performance, allowing users to check the level of battery power available, and adding convenience, as many companies already use Milwaukee batteries for other tools.

Each RRS-3 is designed to remotely rack a specific style of circuit breaker. The portable, stand-alone devices allow operators to install and remove circuit breakers with a hand-control unit while standing 25 to 300 feet away with select devices coming standard with the radio remote feature. The remote racking systems are typically held in place by strong magnets, so no modifications to switchgear are required. Each RRS-3 is custom-built to safely operate your electrical equipment.

Contact CBS ArcSafe to discuss acquiring a new RRS-3 unit or replacing your legacy devices. All CBS ArcSafe products are manufactured in the United States at our facilities in Denton, TX, and Charleston, WV. For more information, visit CBSArcSafe.com or call 877-4-SAFETY.
