SW Registration & Technical Papers

We are pleased to announce a record number of registrations for the 2025 IEEE IAS Electrical Safety Workshop (ESW). www.ElectricalSafetyWorkshop.com

But there is always room for more, so help us spread the word as we “enable and accelerate change in the electrical safety culture.”

The technical papers and tutorials at ESW have shaped electrical safety best practices and standards for over two decades, and a look at this year’s ABSTRACTS promise to continue that tradition. We currently have 35 Technical papers and case studies, six long-form tutorials, not to mention two nights of poster/interactive presentations.

Topics will range from analyses of safety data to the latest research, to practical steps you will be able to bring back to your facility to impact the worker safety, including:

  • Low-, medium- and high-voltage applications
  • DC and batteries
  • Shock & arc flash
  • Safety culture
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Host employer and contractor safety
  • Codes and standards
  • Electric Vehicles
  • Equipment design considerations
  • Advancements in PPE
  • Electrical safety program design, management and improvement
  • Arc Flash mitigation
  • And so much more

We are humbled by the record response thus far and look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones at the 2025 Electrical Safety Workshop: March 3-7 in Tampa, FL.

Best regards,

Zarheer Jooma
Chair, 2025 IEEE IAS Electrical Safety Workshop
