NECA NAMES TAUHIRA ALI AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF INDUSTRY INNOVATION

The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) is excited to announce the selection of Tauhira Ali as Executive Director of Industry Innovation, effective January 25.

In this role, Ali will lead NECA’s innovation efforts and gather insights from end users, industry experts and technology providers to deliver awareness, education and implementation strategies to specialty contractors.

These efforts will empower NECA member companies to leverage technical innovations and industry trends, as well as drive process and productivity, ultimately increasing their market share.

Ali has more than 15 years of research, product design, and strategic roadmap experience in the computing, automotive, aerospace, robotics and public relations industries. She most recently led the construction technology group at Milwaukee Tool, where she managed internal and external cross-functional teams to explore how construction trends and emerging technologies drive user-focused solutions to increase business opportunities for contractors worldwide.

“I am absolutely thrilled to welcome Tauhira to the NECA family, where she will lead our continued efforts to drive innovation among our members,” said David Long, NECA CEO. “She has an established background analyzing emerging technologies, industry trends and more—most recently with our partners at Milwaukee Tool—and I have no doubt she will be an asset to the entire association as she takes the reins of the NECA Industry Innovation team.”
