Intermatic Announces New Vice President of Marketing, North America
Spring Grove, ILL, January 29, 2014 – Intermatic Incorporated, a leader in energy management solutions, announced Liz Jacobs as its new Vice President of Marketing, North America.
Jacobs previously was Director of Marketing for Siemens Industry Inc., managing its Control products and Systems portfolio for the Americas. Her responsibilities included building automation systems, enterprise energy management systems, commercial fire systems, and lighting controls, which were distributed through HVAC and electrical distributors and systems integrators.
Jacobs also sat on the board of directors for the Continental Automated Building Association (CABA) and chaired its Integrated and Intelligent Buildings Council for the past two years. Prior to that, Jacobs was Director of Marketing at W.W. Grainger.
“The industry is fast changing with new technologies emerging, big data and diagnostic tools,” said Rick Boutilier, President and CEO of Intermatic. “Bringing Liz on board to direct our product development and channel marketing efforts will help Intermatic move even faster in bringing new value to distributors and contractors. Jacobs will be tasked with bringing exciting development opportunities that will help Intermatic deliver products to distribution and help build their businesses.
