Dur-A-Lift, Inc. To Expand Tree Care Aerial Lift Line. Acquires MAT-3 Product Line

Dur-A-Lift DPM-36 2-PersonGeorge, IA  –  Dur-A-Lift, Inc., one of the nation’s fastest growing manufacturers of aerial lifts, is proud to announce the expansion of their tree care aerial lift line with the acquisition of the MAT-3 Mat-Tree product line. The MAT-3 aerial lift line, designed by respected industry engineer John Mlaker, is known for its Biglift and Mat-Tree units. The Mat-Tree aerial lift is widely considered the machine of choice by many in the tree care industry due to features that specifically benefit tree care and service operators.

Mr. Mlaker is working with Dur-A-Lift to integrate the MAT-Tree into the Dur-A-Lift line.  The Mat-Tree will be renamed model DAT3 under the Dur-A-Lift brand name.  Mlaker stated, “I am excited to be working with Dur-A-Lift and to be able to see the Mat-Tree aerial device back in production.  I know our customers and the tree care industry will be pleased to see the product back in production and available in the near future.”

In researching the market, the Mat-Tree lift that John designed receives excellent reviews from the field.  Current owners of Mat-Tree lifts have expressed a great deal of support for the availability of new units in the future.”  Dur-A-Lift continues to expand its product line for the tree care market.  The DAT3 joins other tree care specific products, like the DTAX-45 Urban Forestry Unit, which was introduced in 2015, and is the only Class 5 lift in the industry with a working height of fifty feet.

The DAT3 series of aerial lifts will be available for the 65 to 75 foot working height range.  Dur-A-Lift expects to begin shipping new DAT3 units starting in late 2016.
