MELTRIC HP-Rated DS200 Tops Industry as Most Powerful Switch-Rated Device

MELTRIC’s upgraded DS200 is the company’s latest addition to its signature line of switch-rated plugs and receptacles. The enhanced DS200 boasts 40-100 hp, and a ratings increase to 600VAC, making it the most powerful switch-rated device on the market. Also available is an upgraded 6-pilot configuration.

The DS200 with hp and motor circuit switch ratings is now an NEC-compliant motor disconnect. The new ratings fill the gap between 75-100 hp, where the NEC requires a specific hp-rated disconnect. DS200 Switch-Rated plugs and receptacles feature MELTRIC’s spring-loaded, silver-nickel, butt-style contacts. The devices are built to withstand corrosive environments, while delivering exceptional performance and reliability. Receptacles include standard lockout holes for easy NFPA 70E lockout/ tagout compliance.
