iToolco has just introduced PULL SLICK

An innovative high performance polyethylene fiber pulling rope

IToolco has just introduced PULL SLICK, their exclusive new composite pulling rope, which greatly reduces pulling friction and requires no lubricant. It has a higher breaking strength, a smaller diameter, and is much lighter than low stretch pulling rope.

“The quality and type of rope used has a huge impact on the success and speed of every wire pull,” said iToolco President David Jordan. “We are very pleased with the high speed pull results contractors are getting with this unique product.”

Friction caused by standard pulling rope can account for up to 40% of the weight of a wire pull. The new PULL SLICK rope is over 60% lighter than traditional pulling rope.

The fiber of the rope itself is very smooth, so it requires no lubricant, it will not absorb water, and it will not mold, which keeps the rope as light as when you got it. PULL SLICK will not hold dirt and sand, so it is far less likely to cut through the PVC on 90 degree bends.

PULL SLICK 9/16” rope has a higher breaking strength of 32,000 lbs, over the 29,000 lbs. strength of a standard 7/8” pulling rope. PULL SLICK can sometimes be pulled in with string, rather than having to use an intermediate size rope, which saves time. It also comes with pulling eyes on both ends of the rope.

PULL SLICK is a great way to make all your wire pulls high speed pulls. For best results, use it with iToolco pulling equipment.
