Introducing QuietWarmth® Film Gentle Radiant Heat System for Floating and Laminate Floors

March 13, 2014 – Norfolk, NE – MP Global Products introduces QuietWarmth® Film, a gentle radiant heat system designed specifically for floating wood and laminate floors that installs easily over a subfloor or acoustic underlayment. The roll-out line voltage system features gradual supplemental warmth from low wattage resistance heating of ultra-thin, flexible radiant heat film, using just 6 watts per square foot and conforming to warranty requirements of many floating floors. Desirable to many homeowners, the system can increase profits for new construction and renovations.

Lightweight and sporting a zero carbon footprint and not requiring any maintenance, QuietWarmth Film is also perfect for floating tile systems such as SnapStone, Avaire and Eclipse brands.

QuietWarmth Film is available in four convenient rollout pad sizes (3’ x5’, 3’ x 10’, 1.5’ x 5’ and 1.5’ x 10’) that will accommodate most any layout. Each mat has wires pre-attached for ease of installation.

Using an ultra-efficient wireless filament configuration, QuietWarmth Film for Floating Floors:

• Disperses a fast, more evenly consistent heat throughout the entire floor.
• Consumes up to 50% less power than traditional wired systems.
• Is thoughtfully crafted to not completely shut down if the system should ever become compromised or damaged.

Featuring an ultra-thin design (just .016” thick), QuietWarmth Film installs easily in one day quickly without any mortar or glue. Simply roll out the panel and size it to fit with scissors. Configure the radiant heat panels over MP Global Products’ QuietWalk underlayment and direct all lead wires toward one central electrical box, with final connection by a licensed electrician to the electronic programmable thermostat.
